Innovation Challenge

iTNT Hub hosts Innovation Challenges in collaboration with the Government and Industry to foster groundbreaking and transformative solutions in emerging technologies by actively engaging startups, researchers, and academic institutions. Winners and other top placed solutions are provided with incubation and acceleration support to launch their dream ventures. The Hub also facilitates Technology Transfer, mutually benefiting the problem solver and the industry.

Bosch Innovation Challenge

Jointly organised by iTNT Hub and Bosch Global Software Technologies, the Bosch Innovation Challenge showcased the power of industry-led problem statements in driving real-world innovation. Launched during the inauguration of the iTNT Coimbatore Regional Hub on 22 November 2025, the challenge attracted 192 submissions from startups and researchers. The challenge encouraged participants to address end-to-end security from design and development to deployment highlighting the growing need for robust, future-ready IoT solutions.

Geospatial Innovation Challenge

iTNT Hub launched ‘Geospatial Innovation Challenge’ at UmagineTN 2025 to drive cutting-edge solutions in agricultural mapping. Geospatial technologies are revolutionizing industries with advanced tools for location intelligence, spatial analytics, and real-time data visualization. This challenge invited startups and student entrepreneurs to leverage geospatial innovation to tackle critical challenges in mapping agricultural landscapes.

Public Sector Innovation Challenge

Artificial Intelligence is transforming industries by improving efficiency, enabling creativity, and addressing complex challenges across sectors such as healthcare, finance, agriculture, and public services. Recognizing this potential, iTNT Hub, in collaboration with Amazon Web Services, launched the “ Public Sector Innovation Challenge” at UmagineTN 2025 to support startups in building AI-driven solutions for real-world public sector needs.

Unlock the Future

Unlock the Future Image

iTNT Hub launched the “Unlock the Future” Innovation Challenge, inviting seasoned developers, aspiring entrepreneurs, and creative problem-solvers to transform their ideas into impactful tech ventures. Focused on key sectors such as Climate Tech, Sustainability, Energy Generation, Healthcare, FinTech, and Smart Manufacturing, the challenge drew an overwhelming response, with 509 solutions submitted from across Tamil Nadu.

The winners were each awarded ₹1.5 lakh at the iTNT Industry Conclave in September 2024.

Break the Loop

Break the Loop

iTNT Hub, in collaboration with Rolls-Royce, launched the ‘Break the Loop’ Innovation Challenge to address the growing threat of heat waves and their societal & environmental impact. Aimed at DPIIT-registered startups and academic experts, the challenge focused on sustainability, energy generation, and climate tech, with an emphasis on patentable solutions, attracted entries from across Tamil Nadu. Winning teams with groundbreaking ideas have been inducted into iTNT’s PATHFINDER incubation program to transform their solutions into innovative ventures.
